Compliance Case Management in Government
An agency within the federal government has a mandate to manage the environment and human health risks from a long list of toxic substances. Their objective was to be proactive – allowing companies to submit pollution prevention plans to the agency before the potential pollution could become an issue. Each planning process could involve the submission of up to six different forms at different times in the process.
The oversight agency needed to track where each organization was in their planning process in order to identify those who were late in getting their forms submitted, and keep track of all the correspondence associated with each client and their forms.
ccmMercury Customization
WorkDynamics created a customized ccmMercury database that enabled the tracking of all six forms for each client organization. The data entry screens were customized for each form and included the deadlines and the default routing for reviewing each submitted form.
Queries and reports were created that allowed the staff to search for the organizations that were missing filing deadlines, and templates were created for form letter responses.
