New Release of Correspondence Tracking Software Provides Intelligent Workflow Routing

ccmMercury v3.5 allows business rules to dynamically route information

Kanata, ON – 31 Jan 2005 – WorkDynamics Technologies, the government correspondence specialists, today announced the official release of ccmMercury v3.5 into production. This release offers upgraded and new features to new customers and the more than 75 government organizations that already use ccmMercury to track correspondence and other information.

Intelligent Workflow Routing

Easily routing letters, emails and forms to the people who can best handle them has always been a major strength of the ccmMercury products. The new intelligent workflow routing feature allows customers to interactively create multiple sets of rules that ccmMercury uses to dynamically route the information to the right people based on the logical conditions in the rules. The decision logic can be based on the content of any field, the status of a previous step, impending deadlines or any combination of these elements.

Other new and enhanced features in ccmMercury v3.5 include: improvements to full-text searching, simpler user administration, enabling the routing function to be run independently or as a service, automatic selection of the client software or the web interface, configurability of contact information types, and enhanced integration with Groupwise®, Hummingbird DM™5, Documentum Records Manager (formerly Foremost®) and Microsoft® Outlook®.

Shipping of this upgrade to customers with valid support contracts will commence within 5-10 business days. WorkDynamics expects the next version of ccmMercury.WEB, the Web version of ccmMercury, to be released within the next 60 days.
