Version 4.0 Release of Correspondence Tracking Software Enhances Web Capabilities

ccmMercury.WEB v4.0 functionality matches client version

Kanata, ON – 15 July 2005 – WorkDynamics Technologies Ltd., the government correspondence specialists, today announced the official release of ccmMercury v4.0 into production. This release offers enhanced Web capabilities for new customers and the more than 75 government organizations that already use ccmMercury to track correspondence and other information.

Web Enhancements

Both the ccmMercury.WEB and ccmEnterprise products now include

  • Full text searching of documents
  • Search across multiple databases
  • Automatic E-mail notifications
  • Version Control for documents
  • Integration with Crystal Reports™ v11
  • Integration with Hummingbird DM™5
  • Upgraded to Outside In® Viewer v8.0
  • Upgraded to Adobe® Reader® v7.0

Adding these capabilities gives ccmMercury customers complete flexibility in how they enable users to enter, track and manage correspondence or other paperwork processes. Users doing high volumes of data entry or processing transactions can still reap the dedicated ccmMercury client benefits of minimal keystrokes and direct database access, while users with less demanding usage patterns have immediate Web browser access to the same data and capabilities through ccmMercury.WEB. Organizations can deploy ccmEnterprise to provide everyone with a self-service capability to find and view status information about any correspondence or other paperwork being processed.

Automatically Process Web Forms

The ccmEForms option has been upgraded to include Delete functionality and significantly faster displays of information. ccmEForms allows organizations to have Internet users enter their own information on Web forms, which is then automatically entered into the appropriate ccmMercury database. This completely eliminates the cost, time delay and potential errors of having a separate data entry function.

Customers can immediately request copies of ccmMercury v4.0 by contacting their WorkDynamics account executive. Shipping of this upgrade to customers with valid support contracts will commence within 5-10 business days.
