ccmContact is an administrator tool to help you maintain the ccmMercury Contact List.
- Removing Exact Duplicates
You can easily remove all duplicate contacts, reducing the number of records to improve performance and reduce the risk of errors. - Removing Orphaned Contacts
This function searches the database and displays all contact records that are orphans (i.e. not associated with any records). You can then choose to delete any of these contacts from the list. - Consolidating Similar Contacts
You can consolidate similar contacts by searching for them and manually modifying the links. - Modifying Contacts
Contact records can be modified directly, allowing you to create one contact record to consolidate all information from other contact records before re-linking them. - Saving the Contacts to File
Any list of contacts, including a search for orphans displayed in the Search Results window can be saved as a file for review, or as a backup copy. The file contains all of the data for each of the records in tab delimited format, which then can be easily imported into a spreadsheet.
