How can I make sure my data will be secure?

Only users with valid ccmMercury accounts will have access to any ccmMercury data. When creating databases and user accounts, your ccmMercury Administrator can specify that only specific users or groups of users will have access to the database.

Must userids/passwords be maintained in ccmMercury?

No – ccmMercury will also integrate direct with your existing network security to use network userids and passwords.

Can I configure each database differently?

Yes – the configuration for ccmMercury is very flexible. Your administrator can configure the fields, field properties, and access rights for each database individually. You can have different fields on each database, with different label sets and different properties, pick lists, and so on.

Can different users have different access levels?

Your administrator can configure the level of access for individual users or for groups of users, depending on the requirement. Access can be granted at the Database level, Record Level, or even field level. Different users can have different rights on each database. A user can even have different rights on individual records depending on the content of each record.

How can I easily share data?

ccmMercury allows you to share or publish the data it keeps in multiple ways:

  • run template and send by email or print
  • run report and sent by email or print
  • give users access to ccmEnterprise

What kind of reports can I run?

Using the ccmMercury reporting tool, or using Crystal Reports, you can develop and distribute report definitions to all users, letting them run their own reports as necessary. Statistical reports or trend analysis reports can be created, allowing the users to enter selection criteria at runtime, or for even more flexible reporting users can run the report based on the search result.

Once a report has been created in ccmMercury, it can be printed, emailed, saved as a file, or saved directly to a document management system.

Can I add new fields or change field properties?

Yes – the ccmMercury administrator, working with the database administrator, can add fields to the ccmMercury table structure and include those fields on the screens, reports and templates.
