Intermediate / Senior Sales Representative

The position of the Intermediate / Senior Sales Representative is to identify, develop and qualify business opportunities. The responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of clients by introducing ccmMercury solutions including application management, support services, and Business Process Transformation. Within this role the Intermediate / Senior Sales Representative must demonstrate creativity in designing, articulating, and selling innovative business visions and value propositions. Equally, the Intermediate / Senior Sales Representative understands how to position the full capabilities of WorkDynamics (WDT), so that customer executives clearly grasp the short and long-term business and financial value of a relationship with WDT Ottawa. Each contract opportunity requires the Intermediate / Senior Sales Representative to take ownership and call upon WDT resources that bring the proper expertise in front of the customers, as the project requires.

Responsibilities will include:

  • undertaking unsolicited executive calling and developing highly respected relationships among senior management and executives in client organizations;
  • proactively screening the market and identifying potential services/solution opportunities;
  • developing executive-level, visionary business value propositions encompassing all lines of business;
  • managing the relationships with other lines of business units/service providers to best position, identify and develop opportunities;
  • developing initial analysis of solutions to demonstrate compelling financial rationales;
  • identifying the clients' critical success factors and potential WDT engagement risks;
  • assembling the initial engagement teams to move qualified opportunities forward;
  • developing a compelling value proposition consistent with the client's critical success factors;
  • selecting/creating/establishing and managing the partners with whom we would be teaming when necessary;
  • preparing and updating monthly Sales Reports and Sales Funnels as required by management;
  • contributing to the Finance Department concerning outstanding Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable issues with clients as required;
  • contributing to decisions on whether to invest company resources to further qualify, assess risk and feasibility of potential opportunities;

Requirements:

  • Experience in inside and / or outside sales
  • Bilingual (English/French) would be considered an asset
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Primarily Ottawa based, but some travel required
  • Experience with Government Agencies would be considered an asset
